This simple visual board was designed to help young children with autism and other special needs with number recognition. It can be printed out and given to students to practice, or laminated so it can be reused with dry erase markers. When using it write the numbers in each box, read aloud and model. For example say something like, “a two and a three together makes twenty three”. I wrote the words for each number below the box to assist in memorizing and making associations as well.
