This point sheet was designed for middle school students with high functioning autism to independently draft daily goals and keep track of various facets of their days. Ideally, students should bring these to each class and ask their teachers to sign them at the end. Every “yes” circled should correlate with a positive reinforcement incentive system aligned with behavior and/or IEP goals. Sheets should be sent home at the end of the day for parents to review, sign and return. Parents who have used this form have shared that it is helpful for them to know exactly what transpired during their child’s day, given the deficits in expressive language within the high functioning autistic population.
